Buying on KensList
Find something nearby, ask clear questions, and agree on a safe local exchange.

Find a listing
Browse by category or use search. Select Has photos when you only want listings with pictures.

Review the details
Read the full description, price, neighborhood, photos, and posting date. Save promising listings so you can return to them.

Contact the seller
Open the listing and choose Reply to seller. Ask about condition, availability, dimensions, included items, and anything else that matters before meeting.

Agree on the exchange
Confirm the final price, payment method, meeting place, and time in Messages. Do not send sensitive financial or identity information.

Complete the exchange safely
Meet in a public, well-lit place when practical. Inspect the item before paying, bring another person for large pickups, and leave if anything feels wrong.
Selling on KensList
Write an accurate local listing, respond promptly, and keep its status current.

Create your listing
Sign in and choose + Post. Pick the closest category, write a specific title and description, set a clear price, add the neighborhood, and upload useful photos.

Respond to buyers
Watch Messages for inquiries. Answer questions honestly and keep price, availability, and pickup details in the conversation.

Keep the listing current
Use My listings to edit the description, price, neighborhood, category, or photos when something changes.

Arrange the exchange
Confirm the buyer, final price, payment method, meeting place, and time. Use a safe location and avoid sharing unnecessary personal information.

Close or renew the listing
Delete a listing after it is sold or no longer available. Active listings expire after 30 days; use My listings to renew one for another 30 days.
If something looks wrong
Do not continue an exchange that feels unsafe. Use Report listing on the listing page for scams, prohibited items, misleading information, or other concerns. For immediate danger, contact local emergency services.
